Media Relations Manager for Group Communication

We are looking for a new Media Relations Manager to join us in the journey we are embarking on to strengthen our overall engagement and interaction with the business.
We would like to welcome you as our new Media Relations Manager if you can see yourself in the following:
Globally responsible for creating and managing GN’s external corporate level media outreach to support company strategy and daily business
Create and deliver proactive and effective outreach initiatives to promote GN in accordance with GN’s corporate communication priorities. Sell-in stories of interest to national and international media, working closely with colleagues throughout GN
Work directly with Executive Management and other top management to coach and support them in media relations
Work closely with the Investor Relations team in relation to financial media
Collaborate closely with the group’s other communicators within PR and social media for guidance on corporate communication and media policies - drive and coordinate the GN Communication Network consisting of earned PR and social media managers from GN’s business units and subsidiaries
Also, you can build and maintain internal relationships across all areas of GN to source relevant stories - research and develop stories suitable for publication in external media + execute on ideas from internal Communication Partners.
You can write releases, posts, etc. to raise GN’s profile generally, and the profile of specific GN activities and you are able to constantly monitor and analyze media output and coverage achieved as well as detect public relations issues as they emerge and address them.

Sound good so far? Here is what you will need to succeed and create results
At least 5 years’ experience with media relations in a listed company
Understanding B2B as well as B2C media relations
Solid business and strategy insight, strong analytical skills
Clear evidence of ability to establish good and trustful relations with journalists
Clear evidence of story-telling experience
Social media execution experience
Creative ideas person that can find new routes to get the right story out
Based at HQ in Ballerup
